Total both sides
Add every weapon, pet, and duplicate. A handful of small adds can turn a close offer into a clear win or loss. Use the same current list for both sides so the comparison is consistent.
Compare demand, not only value
Demand describes how actively traders want an item. If two sides total the same, the side with stronger demand is often easier to trade onward and may justify a modest overpay.
Check stability
A stable item gives you a firmer reference. A fluctuating item needs a fresh check, especially when the trade is large or the value gap is small.
Understand overpay
Overpay is not automatically bad. Traders may pay more for a favorite item, a complete set, better demand, or fewer but stronger items. Make sure the reason is visible before accepting the gap.
Watch common trade traps
- Do not let urgency replace a value check.
- Confirm quantities before accepting.
- Do not trust a screenshot when the live trade window shows something else.
- Recalculate after any item is swapped at the last second.
Make the final decision
Use the calculator verdict as a starting point, then decide whether demand, stability, item preference, and retrade difficulty justify the difference. No list can guarantee what another player will accept.
